Your new role In this HR position, you will support the full employee lifecycle locally, working alongside an established HR Officer and partnering closely with regional stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing end-to-end HR generalist support across recruitment, onboarding and employee relations
- Acting as the primary HR contact for the Australia region
- Supporting compliance with Australian employment legislation and banking regulations
- Advising leaders on performance management, engagement and talent development
- Contributing to HR initiatives aligned with regional and global people strategies

What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
- Several years' HR experience within banking or financial services
- Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) to support stakeholder communication
- Strong understanding of Australian HR practices and employment law
- Experience operating in a standalone or small HR function
- Confident stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills

Highly Desirable:
- Experience in international or Asia-linked banking environments
- Exposure to regulated or compliance-heavy industries
