






Description
The Human Resources Manager must perform a range of duties supporting department managers, plant manager and HR staff. The duties consist of all aspects of union contract administration, policy interpretation, recruitment, training, employee relations, diversity, and other HR programs. Provide resolutions and consulting in the above areas to ensure profitable, smooth, and efficient business operations.

Job Duties:
Communicate to internal stakeholders HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations
Administer and educate employees on benefits
Provide resolutions to employee relation issues
Act as representative for unemployment claims
Administer and record employee recognition
Perform interviews, screens, and recruit for entry level, professional and technical job openings
Build and sustain beneficial relationships with employment agencies and educational institutions
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Minimum 5 years managerial experience in a manufacturing environment and working with labor unions
Must have experience with union contract negotiations, union contract administration and grievance handling, basic knowledge of National Labor Relations Act.
Demonstrated work knowledge in multiple HR disciplines
Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email required
