Job Description

The Human Resources/Administrative Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the HR department including hiring, testing and interviewing, administering pay, benefits and leave and enforcing company policies and procedures. This position will also assist in driving our Total Safety Culture.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Performs routine tasks associated with administering and executing HR programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, performance and talent management, employee recognition and morale, and training/development.

Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.

Collaborates with staffing agencies to assist in understanding skills and competencies required for openings. Builds and maintains relationships with agencies to ensure satisfactory performance.

Conducts new hire orientations

Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, recommending best practices while reviewing policies and procedures to maintain compliance.



Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent related experience. Minimum 5 years in a similar role.

SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality

Proficiency with HRIS
