Summary
We are looking for an HR assistant to handle various personnel-related administrative duties. Your role is to act as the liaison between HR managers and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. You will also support our daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes, and relevant documents. This role will allow you the opportunityf= career development.
Essential Functions
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
• Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources department.
• Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, etc.)
• Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes
• Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
• Provides clerical support to the HR department.
• Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
• Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
• Assists the HR Director with regulatory and compliance matters for federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, such as FMLA, Workers Compensation, Unemployment, etc
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
• Two-year experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or relevant HR/Administrative position
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Hands-on experience with HRIS or HRMS and ATS software
• Basic knowledge of labor laws
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• ADP experience preferred
Education
• High School degree
• BS Degree in Human Resources or related field(preferred)
