



Description
We are a well established construction company, family owned and operated, looking for additional help in handling our human resource needs, to include, but not exclude:
- Post Positions and Schedule interviews
- Track licenses and certifications
- Track Birthdays with marketing
- Assist Onboarding and Offboarding Checklists
- Scan, organize, maintain and file employee files
- Input new employees in software
- Payroll inputting, reviewing & problem solving
- Advertisement for recruitment as needed
- Monitor and track time off requests
- Employee relations: Assist with personnel management; terminations, suspensions, reviews, conduct violations and retaining efforts.
- Union meeting initiations – monthly membership & annual executive check-in meeting
- Manage quarterly random drug screenings & yearly reporting
- Assist with Benefit management/review each year – once yearly
- 401k and open enrollments
- Responsible for attending recruitment fairs, networking events, and other beneficial workshops as needed
- Responsible for yearly equal employer management paperwork. (MDOT)
- Twice weekly check-in with supervisor
- Assist with social media platforms, keeping them up to date, with open positions (Facebook, indeed)
- Follow up with all Employment Verification requests – company wide
- 4 spreadsheets updated; payroll, wages, benefits, filled positions

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient computer skills; working with various software, websites and programs
- 2 years minimum experience with tasks listed in job description
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment under pressure/deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Follow instructions given both orally or in writing
- Ability to work independently, with accuracy and in accordance with company safety and quality standards
- Ability to communicate in English with other employees for the purpose of hazard recognition, problem solving, or other purposes
