Opportunity for a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to collaborate with leaders and employees across the organization in all aspects of HR (including payroll and talent acquisition). This role will manage a small team as well as act as the primary point of contact team, employees’ and managers’ HR-related queries. The HRBP will be involved in job design, policy implementation and revision, talent acquisition, employee relations (including investigations), talent management (performance and disciplinary action), training & development, company communications, engagement, DE&I, safety, payroll, and HR-related software implementation.

The primary objective of this position is to communicate and administer change, ensure HR department operations are compliant and run smoothly, support the HR Director, and work to create an engaged and productive culture. Promoting new initiatives and shaping an engaged and positive work environment is vital.  The right fit for this role will have a wide range of experience throughout the entire employee life cycle. The successful candidate will have a passion for and experience in the gamut of HR-related topics (Generalist), multi-state law, current best practices, be organized and a self-starter, and enjoy implementing change initiatives.  A perfect fit for this role will be tech-savvy, have good project/task and time management skills, be an excellent communicator, and have experience thriving in a fast-paced/start-up environment. 

The position is currently Hybrid* with the requirement of 2 - 3 days in-office per week.

What You’ll Do…

  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives
  • Bridge management and employee relations
  • Oversee Recruitment team employee onboarding cycle and performance
  • Support current and future programs designed for development, engagement, motivation, and retention
  • Implement HR operations, systems, policies, and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive culture and working environment
  • Support and help develop managers in HR-related matters and leadership development
  • Maintain compliance with confidential records and document retention policies
  • Oversee and audit payroll
  • Provide decision support through HR metrics analysis, reports, and administrative assistance


Requirements

What's required...

  • 7+ years of experience working experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior Generalist with increasing responsibility
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team, preferably in Human Resources, payroll, and full-cycle talent acquisition
  • 2+ years of experience in direct or managing full-cycle talent acquisition
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or related field OR equivalent experience working within Human Resources
  • Knowledge of multi-state labor law and HR best practices
  • Experience working in a fast-past, rapid-change, and/or start-up environment
  • Tech-savvy with Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio) 
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g. Paylocity, ADP, Paycor, iCims, Clear Company, etc.)
  • Human Resources certifications (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred
  • Experience processing payroll preferred
