Director of Human Resources Requirements & Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (required)
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification (required)
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, conflict resolution, and organizational development
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage both strategic and day-to-day HR activities
Director of Human Resources Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in multi-location HR management within hospitality or restaurants
- Track record of fostering diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces
Director of Human Resources Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead HR strategy development and implementation aligned with business objectives across all locations
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and retention initiatives to build strong, hospitality-driven teams
- Champion, enhance, and sustain a people-centered culture focused on respect, equity, and inclusion
- Design and execute training programs that develop internal leaders and elevate service standards
- Manage compensation, benefits, and performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor regulations and HR best practices
