Job Summary
Hawaii Best Loans LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources professional to support company-wide HR operations in a fully remote environment. This role is responsible for assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and maintaining HR policies and records in alignment with financial services regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Support recruitment and hiring processes, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Assist with payroll coordination, benefits administration, and timekeeping
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment laws and policies
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Support performance management and employee development initiatives
Assist with training coordination and internal communications
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred)
1+ year of experience in Human Resources, administration, or a related role preferred
Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, or applicant tracking systems preferred
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services or a regulated industry
Familiarity with multi-state employment compliance
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
Schedule & Availability
