Over the past decade, due to prime land availability near the I-5 corridor, the City has transitioned into a hot spot for large Distribution Centers such as Amazon and Restoration Hardware and many others and is evolving into a rapidly growing modern city.  The City of Patterson is seeking a decisive, collaborative, and inclusive manager who can make tough decisions as their next Human Resources Director. The ideal candidate will possess a management and leadership style that is solution oriented, visionary, highly ethical and integral, adaptable, flexible, professional, accountable, and able to build positive working relationships with staff, department heads, leadership, and elected officials. Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in business or public administration, human resources, industrial relations or a closely related field, a Masters’ degree is a plus. Seven years of increasingly responsible experience in professional human resources work including three years of experience of Manager, Deputy Director or Director level responsibility. Experience in a public agency setting is desirable. The annual salary range for the Human Resources Director is $182,247.72 - $221,523.24; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
