Overview
The Human Resources Intern will gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience by working closely with our HR team on a wide range of projects and processes. Under the supervision of experienced HR professionals, the intern will support key initiatives in areas such as HR compliance, talent acquisition, onboarding and orientation, and compensation. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to take ownership of targeted projects including job description updates and aligning corporate HR policies with new guidelines. This position is based in Ripon, WI, and is open to students seeking a Spring 2026 (part-time) or Summer 2026 (full-time) internship.

Key Projects:
- Job Description Update: Collaborate with the HR team to review and update job descriptions for accuracy and consistency
- Policy Update Initiative: Assist in revising and aligning Corporate HR policies with the latest organizational guidelines

Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and updating documents related to HR programs, processes, and policies
- Support the administration of the annual performance management process, including reviews, goal setting, and merit planning
- Assist with business integration and acquisition activities within the Direct Distribution business unit, focusing on HR-related tasks
- Update various HR systems as needed
- Take part in a job description update project to ensure role definitions are clear and consistent across the organization
- Participate in other HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field, and have completed at least sophomore year
Skills and Abilities:
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to quickly adapt and learn
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong overall PC skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Outstanding organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail
Standard and Physical Requirements:
- Position includes extended periods of sitting, some standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending, and minimal lifting
