What You’ll Do
Lead Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Oversee full-cycle recruiting including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring
Deliver smooth and memorable onboarding experiences for yearround and seasonal team members
Develop workforce and staffing plans to support operational needs throughout all seasons
Support International Programs
Coordinate the full lifecycle of J1 and H2B international associates: recruitment, onboarding, housing, cultural integration, and offboarding
Serve as a resource and advocate to help international team members feel welcomed and supported
Champion Employee Relations & Culture
Build trusted relationships across departments as a proactive HR partner
Investigate employee concerns and complaints, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely resolution
Handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
Lead employee engagement, recognition, and culturebuilding programs that make our resort an exceptional place to work
Guide Benefits, Compliance & Safety
Administer employee benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k), and leave management
Manage FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation claims, and safety-related processes
Complete and submit required Workers’ Compensation forms and Department of Labor (DOL) documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
Maintain compliance with state and federal employment laws, as well as resort policies
Support and implement HR processes and procedures, ensuring consistency and operational excellence
Drive Performance, Development & Training
Coordinate performance review cycles and support leadership in coaching and employee development
Support and deliver HRrelated trainings, including newhire orientation, workplace policies, and leadership development sessions
Maintain HR systems and records, assist with payroll inputs, and generate HR reports as needed
Requirements
What You Bring to the Team
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or an equivalent blend of education and handson experience that demonstrates your HR expertise
- At least 2 years of HR management or supervisory experience in a fastpaced, peoplefocused environment (hospitality experience is a plus!)
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills you’re the kind of person people naturally trust and feel comfortable turning to
- Strong organizational talents and problemsolving abilities, with a sharp eye for details that keep HR operations running smoothly
- Techsavvy mindset with proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (ADP experience is a bonus!)
- Solid understanding of employment laws, workplace standards, and HR best practices, with the ability to apply them in realworld situations
Professional certification preferred (SHRMCP or PHR) or a desire to pursue one as part of your professional growth
