Description
We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist, Executive Recruitment who is responsible for developing and implementing innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of labor market dynamics, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential candidates.Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Acquisition
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent sourcing strategies to meet the company's hiring needs.
- Identify and evaluate potential talent pools, leveraging various sourcing channels including social media, job boards, networking events, and partnerships with educational institutions.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging talent acquisition best practices.
Candidate Pipeline Development
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Implement proactive sourcing techniques, such as headhunting, to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to manage candidate databases and track sourcing activities.
Relationship Management
- In partnership with the executive recruitment team, build and maintain strong relationships with internal hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Develop and nurture relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, professional associations, and universities.
- Foster a positive candidate experience through transparent communication and timely follow-ups.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with HR business partners and hiring managers to develop job descriptions and define selection criteria.
- Lead cross-functional teams in strategic sourcing initiatives and projects.
- In partnership with the executive recruitment team, communicate effectively with senior management to provide updates on talent acquisition activities and performance metrics.
Diversity and Inclusion
- Develop and implement strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates and promote an inclusive hiring process.
- Ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations and company diversity policies.
- Monitor and report on diversity metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
Employer Branding
- Enhance the company's employer brand by promoting its culture, values, and career opportunities through various channels.
- Participate in and organize recruitment events, career fairs, and industry conferences to increase the company's visibility and attract top talent.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling recruitment marketing materials.
Technology and Innovation
- Leverage recruitment technologies and tools to streamline sourcing processes and enhance decision-making.
- Stay updated on advancements in talent acquisition technology and recommend solutions to improve sourcing efficiency.
- Promote innovation in sourcing strategies to drive competitive advantage.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Three years of progressive experience in high volume, fast-paced staffing, corporate recruiting, or university recruiting.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years or more of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a focus on executive-level responsibilities.
- Proven track record of successful candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in recruitment software and tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems, and CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of labor laws, EEO regulations, and ethical recruitment practices.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
