Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' unique experiences and needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote client well-being and facilitate recovery.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with applicable regulations and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care, including coordination with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, helping them understand therapeutic goals and processes.
- Stay current with mental health research, treatment modalities, and best practices to enhance the quality of care provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base, including individuals from various age groups and backgrounds, all facing different mental health challenges. Your expertise will help empower clients to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional difficulties. Your work will facilitate positive therapeutic relationships that support their journey towards healing and stability.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
- A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Vermont is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is necessary.
- Proficient in using solution-based psychotherapy interventions to address diverse client needs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to foster effective treatment outcomes.
- A commitment to working in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Experience
While not required, experience working in trauma-informed care and familiarity with community resources can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities may also be advantageous.
