Family Radiance Counseling is seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home. Our flexible working environment ensures that you can effectively manage your time while prioritizing the needs of the seniors you serve. While the core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, occasional evening or weekend hours may be necessary based on client needs. You will be expected to remain flexible in your scheduling to ensure that our clients receive continuous and timely care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychosocial needs, taking into account their emotional, mental, and social circumstances.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, tailoring strategies to meet their specific goals and preferences.
• Provide individual and family therapy, offering counseling and emotional support to help clients navigate life's challenges, particularly during transitions such as health changes or loss.
• Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their rights are upheld and guiding them through the process of accessing necessary community resources and services.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and caregivers, to coordinate care and improve client outcomes.
• Regularly monitor clients' well-being through visits, assessing living conditions, and addressing any emerging concerns or safety issues.
• Facilitate effective communication among family members involved in the senior client's care, helping to resolve conflicts and enhance support systems.
• Educate clients and their families about available community programs, resources, and support groups to encourage social engagement and overall well-being.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay updated on the latest practices, policies, and regulations in social work to maintain a high standard of ethical care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically focuses on providing support to seniors, a demographic that faces unique mental and emotional challenges. Understanding the aging process and addressing related issues such as isolation, physical health problems, and family dynamics is critical. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in advocating for the needs and rights of older adults, thereby enhancing their quality of life and promoting mental health within the community.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a social work capacity, ideally within a community center or geriatric setting.
• Strong knowledge of social work principles, issues related to aging, and familiarity with community resources.
• Exceptional assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
• Empathy, compassion, and the ability to build rapport with seniors and their families.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a detox or rehabilitation setting, with a focus on mental health support.
• Familiarity with existing community programs and resources available to seniors.
• Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices in therapy and counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 60,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
