The Human Resources Department seeks a 3/4-time (32 hours per week) HR Generalist, reporting to the Director of Human Resources, who will support the full employee lifecycle and plays a key role in delivering a consistent, high-quality employee experience at Waterford School. The HR Generalist partners closely with leadership and employees to ensure HR practices align with organizational goals, are applied consistently, and support a positive, professional workplace culture.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth and professional experience
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and general HR matters
Maintain accurate and organized employee records and documentation
Assist in developing and improving HR processes to create consistency across the organization
Support employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Assist with benefits administration and employee questions
Support compensation processes and maintain relevant data
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
Maintain HR systems and support reporting needs
Assist in gathering and analyzing employee data (e.g., surveys, onboarding feedback)
Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
