Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for new and existing patients to determine their mental health needs.
• Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans that address both immediate and long-term goals.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic interventions, integrating various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance and facilitate continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other clinicians, to provide coordinated care for our patients.
• Provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families, empowering them with tools and resources to manage mental health challenges.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will work with a diverse group of patients, including adults and families, who may be dealing with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Our clinic is dedicated to fostering a safe and welcoming environment where patients can express their concerns and receive tailored support.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with experience in hospice or palliative care settings will have an added advantage, as they will understand the unique challenges faced by patients navigating end-of-life issues.

Compensation and Benefits
