This full-time position allows you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while playing a critical role in providing high-quality mental health services to a diverse client base in Essex Junction, Vermont.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health issues, identify strengths, and create a personalized therapeutic approach.
- Provide therapeutic services in various formats, including individual, family, and group therapy, adapting interventions to align with clients' cultural backgrounds and unique circumstances.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy—to promote mental health and facilitate client growth.
- Collaboratively develop and implement treatment plans that include specific treatment goals, interventions, and strategies for progress monitoring, ensuring consistency in client care.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team—consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals—to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to client care.
- Deliver crisis intervention services, performing risk assessments, safety planning, and immediate emotional support during crises.
- Advocate for clients by connecting them to valuable community resources while providing case management support that enhances their overall mental health journey.
- Engage in outreach and community engagement initiatives to educate the public about mental health issues and promote available resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will be working with a diverse array of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals facing mental health challenges, families in need of support, and groups requiring therapeutic interventions. Your role will directly impact their mental health outcomes, offering not just therapy but also empathy, respect, and understanding through every interaction.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.
- Proven skills in cultural competence and the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Exceptional communication skills, characterized by empathy and adept problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience
- At least three years of experience in a community mental health setting or a similar environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with integrated health models and community outreach practices will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
