Self-Care Impact LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team. This full-time position allows for the flexibility of working remotely while making a significant difference in the lives of individuals, couples, and families. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions focused on specific treatment goals, using tailored therapeutic approaches to facilitate client progress.
- Perform thorough intakes and psychosocial assessments to establish a deep understanding of each client's circumstance and therapeutic needs.
- Prepare and maintain meticulous clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards and state regulations, ensuring compliance with all organizational policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development by participating in regular team meetings, supervision sessions, and case reviews to uphold optimal standards of care.
- Contribute to community outreach programs designed to raise awareness about mental health and remove stigma surrounding therapy, ensuring a broader reach of our resources.
- Provide immediate emotional support and crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, implementing evidence-based strategies to effectively manage crises.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals coping with trauma, couples facing relationship challenges, and families navigating transitions. The ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds and adapt therapeutic strategies to meet their unique needs is crucial. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through significant life changes and mental health challenges, ultimately fostering resilience and sustainable interpersonal relationships.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
- Current and valid LMFT licensure in the state of Vermont.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for establishing rapport with clients.
- Proficient in exercising clinical judgment and providing supportive consultation in a timely manner.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality while strictly adhering to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in trauma-informed care and working with families experiencing crises or significant life transitions.
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of clinical experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist, ideally in an outpatient setting.
- Experience utilizing specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
- Engagement in ongoing professional development and continuing education to remain up-to-date on best practices in therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
