Warm Comfort Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Clinician, qualified as either an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position is aimed at enhancing the mental health and well-being of our diverse patient population by providing individualized care that is both effective and evidence-based. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with therapeutic best practices.
- Utilize evidence-based counseling techniques to facilitate individual therapy sessions that empower clients to navigate their mental health journeys.
- Coordinate care by consulting with community resources and services to promote holistic support for clients and their families.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and guidance to ensure adherence to care recommendations.
- Provide support surrounding issues related to substance use and abuse, sexual health, and trauma by leveraging specialized programs designed for client empowerment.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our client base includes a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds, including children, adults, and families experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We also work with underserved populations within the community, ensuring that everyone has access to quality mental health care.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of Oregon.
- A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience providing therapy in a mental health setting.
- Solid understanding of clinical theories, human development, and abnormal psychology.
- Familiarity with current trends and techniques in the mental health field, with the capability to conduct effective interviews and assessments.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in behavioral and family therapy, especially related to substance abuse and trauma-informed care.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, understanding cultural nuances and sensitivity in therapeutic relationships.
- Proficiency in telehealth services and digital management systems that enhance patient care delivery.
