Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address individual goals.
• Consult with community resources, such as schools and local organizations, to provide a network of support for clients facing diverse challenges.
• Facilitate and coordinate referrals to additional services or programs based on the assessed needs of patients, ensuring they have access to comprehensive support.
• Engage families and relevant stakeholders in the treatment process, helping them to develop effective strategies for support and communication.
• Offer programs focusing on issues such as substance use and trauma recovery, enhancing the therapeutic options available to clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment modalities, promoting adherence to proposed intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with individuals facing a wide variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders, as well as specific populations such as incarcerated clients and those within community mental health programs. Your role is crucial in creating a safe space where clients feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Applicants nearing completion of their degree (within one year) are also encouraged to apply.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A minimum of two years of practical experience in providing counseling services, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of effective therapeutic techniques.
• A solid grounding in psychological theories related to personal development, human motivations, and behavioral health trends.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse populations and an understanding of various cultural, socio-economic, and individual factors impacting mental health.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice and the ability to utilize specific methodologies relevant to mental health therapy.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, ensuring effective communication and engagement with clients.

Compensation and Benefits
