Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine the specific needs and goals of each client.
- Regularly communicate progress with family members, guardians, and allied professionals to ensure an integrated approach to treatment.
- Develop and provide a proactive scheduling outline for client appointments, home visits, and required assessments.
- Coordinate in-home assessments and gather data to maintain up-to-date client records and facilitate program effectiveness.
- Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on client reports and observations.
- Prepare and submit detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes reflecting treatment effectiveness and client developments.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for team members on program implementation and documentation protocols.
- Provide continuous support and follow-up with clients through interviews and home visits, ensuring they receive the resources they need.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized client records, ensuring that information remains accessible for authorized personnel.
- Act as a liaison within the mental health community, facilitating collaboration to support enhanced client outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and revision of training materials and operational procedures to continuously improve program delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. The LPC will work closely with an array of individuals, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs. Whether providing family therapy, couples counseling, or specialized trauma support, this role is pivotal in fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness among our clients.
Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Possession of an active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, showcasing a range of therapeutic competencies.
- Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards pertaining to clinical practice.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to optimize client outcomes.
Preferred Experience
Experience and specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-focused care, or substance use counseling will be favorably regarded. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software is also preferred to streamline documentation and track client progress effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and the complexity of the client caseload. In addition, our benefits package includes:
