Job Summary:
The Duval County Clerk of Court is seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to handle the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for candidates and the organization. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Talent Management and is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top candidates to fill various open positions within the organization.
Examples of Work:
• Source and recruit qualified applicants for various positions using social media and job boards.
• Build partnerships with colleges, universities, and other organizations to attract and build talent pools to fill jobs.
• Attend career fairs and external recruiting events.
• Identify passive candidates and build pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Develop and revise job descriptions and specifications.
• Review resumes/applications and extend interview invitations to qualified candidates.
• Coordinate and schedule virtual and in-person interviews with hiring managers and selected candidates.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person interviews.
• Track and analyze key recruiting metrics.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation.

• Knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, systems, processes, laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
• Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment such as a personal computer using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and related software applications.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A four-year combination of education and/or experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or recruiting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field and two (2) or more years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or recruiting.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
• Must obtain and maintain CJIS certification.
• Valid Class E Driver's license is required to be maintained during employment.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred but not required.
